An Exciting Range of Kayaking Races
England is home to a wide range of exciting kayaking races throughout the year across the sprint, marathon and surf ski disciplines of paddling. The UK's divisional kayak racing system means that even beginner paddlers can win a race and have a great experience with paddlers of a similar ability. The races are a fun, sociable experience for everyone, and so we recommend that even those who only paddle for fun give racing a go.
London Tideway prepares their paddlers to thrive in the exciting races on offer of all distances, conditions and disciplines of kayaking through its focused coaching modules.
We encourage paddlers to broaden their skills by taking part in races not just on flat water but out on the sea amongst the waves in the increasingly popular discipline of surf ski racing, and in descent races such as the Liffey Descent in Ireland and the Sella in Spain.
